About Us
The Ozaukee Chronicle is dedicated to telling the stories of Ozaukee County—its people, its politics, and its future. From village halls to county board chambers, from neighborhood businesses to community traditions, we report on the issues that shape life across Grafton, Mequon, Cedarburg, Saukville, Port Washington, and beyond.
At a time when local voices are too often overlooked, The Chronicle gives them a home. We don’t just cover the news—we provide a platform for the people of Ozaukee County to speak for themselves.
A Paper for the People
One of our most important traditions is publishing Letters to the Editor. We welcome residents to share their perspectives, concerns, and ideas directly with their neighbors. Whether you’re sounding the alarm on local government, highlighting a community success, or debating the big issues of the day, your voice belongs in The Chronicle.
We also run a regular post on In Gratitude and Thanks to Our Leaders to highlight the positive news and work our elected leaders do for us.
