County Supervisor Organizes Far Left Protest

Ozaukee County Supervisor Dan Vogel is proving just how far out of step he is with the people he represents. Despite being elected in a district that backed President Donald Trump by more than 20 points, Vogel has aligned himself with the most radical elements of the progressive left by organizing a protest against President Trump’s plan to use the National Guard to help curb violent crime in Chicago, a city that see's thousands of shootings and hundreds of homicides every single year.

Vogel’s actions raise serious questions about whether he represents the interests of his constituents or those of a fringe ideological agenda. His decision to publicly oppose a common-sense public safety measure is not just tone-deaf — it’s a direct rebuke of the voters who trusted him to protect their communities. Vogel has shown he’s more interested in scoring political points with the fringe left than delivering results for his district and keeping Ozaukee County families safe.

We need county supervisors that will stand with local, county, state, and national law enforcement. It seems that Supervisor Vogel, however, is not all that focused on this in his tenure at the county board.

The county board members will face re-election in April.
