Do you have a plan to vote this Spring? Early Voting is a Great Option

Early Voting Helps Keep Lines Short and Improves Access for All Voters - Especially Low Propensity Conservatives

As Ozaukee County approaches the Spring Election on April 7, local officials and election administrators emphasize that early in-person voting plays a critical role in ensuring smooth, accessible Election Day operations—particularly for residents who vote infrequently or may be discouraged by long wait times.

Early voting opens two weeks before Election Day at municipal clerk offices throughout Ozaukee County, with nearly all municipalities offering hours during their regular business schedules. For many residents, this means casting a ballot can be as simple as stopping in during a lunch break, after work, or on a day off.

Election administrators note that early voting distributes turnout across multiple days, which reduces congestion on General Election Days. Historically, some eligible voters—especially those who vote less regularly—are more likely to leave if they encounter a full parking lot, long line, or other barriers on Election Day. By encouraging use of early voting, the conservative movmenet can help ensure that these voters have a clear, convenient, and low-stress path to casting a ballot.

“Early voting alleviates pressure on the system and makes the process easier for everyone” said Luke Spykstra, a candidate for Village of Grafton Trustee

Local races are often decided by narrow margins, making participation levels particularly consequential. When more residents vote early, Election Day becomes more efficient, which can help ensure that all eligible voters—including those with tight work or family schedules—can cast ballots without encountering delays that might otherwise discourage their turnout. In a political environment where races are won or lost at the margin, the conservative movement needs to do everything it can to get the vote out EARLY. Encourage your friends and family to vote early this April.

Voters need only a valid photo ID to vote early in person. Each municipality—including Mequon, Cedarburg, Grafton, Port Washington, Saukville, Belgium, Fredonia, and Thiensville—publishes its early-voting hours on its official website.

Let's do our part. Let's all commit to voting early and banking our votes!
