In The Arena

We are fortunate to have Paul Melotik as a Wisconsin state Assemblyman for the 22nd district exactly because he is a normal family man who prioritizes normal family concerns. As a conservative lawmaker, he is focused on keeping the government limited, responsive, accountable, efficient, effective & out of the everyday lives of American citizens as much as possible. The state of Wisconsin is projecting a budget surplus and unlike his liberal/progressive counterparts, this rockstar (representative Melotik) wants to return that surplus back to the tax-payers from which it came.

Assemblyman Melotik has cosponsored legislation that eliminated taxes on overtime pay, he has protected our national sovereignty, strengthened services for veterans and enacted legislation to punish foreign agents who commit crimes against American citizens on American soil. It is also important to point out what he hasn’t supported. He has opposed endlessly increasing the scope of state regulations and taxes. The Democrats introduced legislation to obscure or conceal the votes they cast in the state government and Assemblyman Melotik voted against these efforts because he believes in a government that is accountable to the voters in Wisconsin.

Moving forward, Paul’s agenda for the next legislative session in the Wisconsin state government is to provide further tax-relief for Wisconsin families, close regulative loopholes for data centers and provide much needed oversight over our local schools. He is also a major advocate for habitat protection & landmark conservation which is why he will push to re-authorize the Knowles-Nelson Stewardship program. This initiative funds a DNR program to buy land to prevent it from being developed and is essential to growing our public greenspaces. This lawmaker is also determined to strengthen our local workforce in order to facilitate expanding the purchasing power of working families in our economy.

In the last three federal elections, it has become increasingly clear that Democrats have begun to represent the interests of every other group in America but those of the American people themselves. We have watched democratic representatives endorse political violence, embrace the ideologies of foreign adversaries, damage the image of our country abroad, support terrorism against long-time allies & seek to treat this country like a flophouse for drug-addicts. We need as many sane, grounded and smart public servants at every level of our state & federal government & Paul Melotik has a proven record of doing exactly that for Wisconsinites. 

Theodore Roosevelt once famously observed, “It is not the critic who counts…The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly...if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly.” Paul Melotik is one of these men who has the courage to stand in the arena and represent the interests of the citizens of the great state of Wisconsin. Paul Melotik goes out of his way to represent your interests at the state level - please go out of your way to vote, advocate and support him in his re-election to the 22nd assembly district for our state government.
