A warning from Rainbow nation to reverse Apartheid in Utopia
There is a man running for Village of Grafton Trustee who brings a fresh and very needed perspective to the table to safeguard the sovereignty and dignity of the Wisconsin people. His name is Luke Spykstra and he is part of Charlie Kirk’s vanguard from Turning Point USA. He holds senior level positions within the Republican Party of Ozaukee County and has become a force in local politics. Luke and his family also have a story to tell that deserves some explanation in order to properly understand given the state we find American political discourse to be in currently.
This story begins back in South Africa in the 1990’s. Nelson Mandela and his communist ANC were promising unification with their “rainbow nation” ideology. He promised, “we enter into a covenant that we shall build a society in which all South Africans, both Black and White, will be able to walk tall, without any fear in their hearts, assured of their inalienable right to human dignity - a rainbow nation at peace with itself and the world.” While laudable - these goals were never achieved and it seems the path to hell is paved with good intentions.
Like many White South Afrikaners who were initially willing to give Nelson Mandela’s vision a chance, Luke’s family chose to stay and be a part of this emerging Rainbow nation but the only differences they did notice portended very negative things for the future. Emerging communist political parties in South Africa openly argued for seizing white-owned property by the government without compensation, tribal politics overtook legal precedence, taxes skyrocketed while public services literally disappeared…and then the racially-motivated crimes against white farmers began.
It was in this harmony of Maristist utopian social engineering (emphasis on ironic sarcasm here) that Luke’s family fled South Africa and took refuge as legal immigrants in Colorado. This was almost like God laughing at them as we now know that the Spykstra’s were literally jumping out of the fire and into the frierfryer or frying pan as a similar “progressive” (see: Western Communist masquerading as anything but) revolution occurred in Colorado state politics years later. Like a redux of the same cycle he had once experienced in South Africa: great-sounding promises were made but very little was delivered upon other than a steep increase in taxes & crime, a curtailing of freedom and a near collapse of social services.
Incensed with this race to the bottom in Colorado politics, Luke joined Charlie Kirk’s Turning Point USA in college & came to Wisconsin to prevent the same thing from occurring here. If history has taught us anything - it is that idiots will keep trying their idiot ideas over and over because they never learn from their idiot mistakes. The left’s complete revulsion and aversion to accountability prevents them from ever making a sober and complete analysis of a problem - especially one that they have caused. They are ideologically devoted to a specific political lens that will forever blame America, capitalism and Americans for all of the issues in this world.
Luke Spykstra is well aware of the false promises that the left uses as a siren song to get their lemmings to walk right off the cliff. He has a political vision that is undergirded by the American principles of a local government that is accountable to it’s constituents and devoted to serving their interests responsibly. He is a man who is willing to stand up for parent’s rights, lower taxes and understands the danger ideology can pose to personal freedoms. We need his voice in our local government and that is why I am asking you to please support his efforts to get elected as a Trustee to the Village of Grafton in 2026.
